Job description

  • Pay rate: $27.10 Plus experience. Shift differential and weekend differential also apply.
  • Shift reqs: Day shift- 8 hr shifts 0700-1530 and Evening shift- 8 hr shifts 1500-2330.
  • Weekend reqs: Day Shift- if day shift is complete it would be every 3rd weekend. Evening Shift- Every other weekend.
  • Holiday: 2 minor holidays (Memorial day, Labor Day) and 1 major holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years Day).
  • Float reqs: Night shift. All techs are cross trained on nightshift for the rare occasion that night shift needs covered.
  • Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.. Requirement: *Phlebotomy *There is a microbiology lead tech and chemistry lead tech position available for MLS only.
  • Unit overview: 110 bed hospital with an ER, Skilled Nursing Unit, Surgery/Recovery unit, OB unit, Medical Unit, ICU. The lab offers chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, molecular, and microbiology testing.
  • The lab serves outpatients M-F 0600-1800 and performs testing on partnered clinics from the surrounding areas.
  • Staffing: - 4-5 techs and 3 phlebotomists on day shift. 3-4 techs and 2 phlebotomists on evening shift. 1 tech and 1 phlebotomist on night shift. Relocation bonus up to $2500 and must provide proof/receipts
