In this role, you’ll help support the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and rebuilding of Godwin diesel pump systems while working alongside a skilled service team.## ## What Your Day Will Look Like as a Senior Diesel MechanicAs a Senior Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play an important role in supporting our Sanford Service Center, where pumps are returned for evaluation, maintenance, repair, and rebuild work. If you’re looking to join a team where your experience and skills are valued, we encourage you to apply.## ## What We’re Looking For in a Senior Diesel Mechanic* Strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance* Eight (8) or more years of diesel engine experience preferred* Experience with Caterpillar and John Deere diesel engines preferred* Familiarity with Godwin diesel pump engines (such as 6068, 6090, and 4045 series) is a plus* Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, diesel, and electrical issues* Working knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniques used on diesel-powered equipment* Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment* Ability to complete a background check, drug screening, MVR review, and DOT physical* Valid driver’s license with a good driving record## ## Position Schedule* Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–4:00/5:00 PM* Occasional weekend work as neededJob postings may include a broad salary range, with actual compensation determined based on experience, skills, location, and market conditions.#LI-AD1Werden Sie Teil des globalen Xylem-Teams und gestalten Sie innovative Technologielösungen mit, die die Nutzung, Verfügbarkeit, den Schutz und die nachhaltige Verwendung von Wasser sicherstellen.
