Job description

Leader On Duty

Join the SkyHop Global team as our leader on duty for the fantastic TPA location! You'll be at the helm, steering a group of drivers towards excellence while making the most of the best cost options to boost profitability and create unforgettable customer experiences. Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Direct and inspire your team of drivers with leadership that focuses on process improvement, team-building, coaching, and feedback.
  • Keep overtime to a minimum, except for those rare emergency situations.
  • Assist the Station Manager by being a recruitment wizard - interviewing, selecting, training, motivating, coaching, and mentoring transport drivers to be the best in the business.
  • Oversee the daily maintenance review of our fleet, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine and reporting concerns promptly.
  • Be the safety superhero, conducting regular safety audits, leading station safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members to ensure a secure and thriving work environment.
