Job description

The role and afternoon routine: We are looking for a dependable, structured, and energetic afternoon nanny for our twin daughters (3 years old). The shift begins daily at 3:00 PM with picking the girls up from their school and driving them to our home (a short 2.5-mile drive). Once home, the routine includes: - Letting our friendly, large dog out into our fenced backyard and getting him settled. - Unpacking backpacks and organizing school items. - Preparing and serving afternoon snacks for the girls. - Engaging the girls in play until parents arrive home. Light household help (like washing lunchboxes) is appreciated but not a dealbreaker. Requirements: - Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a clean, safe driving history for the short daily school run. (We will fully purchase and provide brand-new, top-rated car seats to leave installed in your vehicle). - Must genuinely love and be comfortable managing a large dog. Opportunities for additional pay: While your baseline hours are fixed, we love providing ways for our regular nanny to earn extra income if desired. You will always get first right of refusal for additional opportunities, including: - Extended Hours: On scheduled school holidays, daytime closures, or specific days we may need extra help, we will often offer you the option to come in early for extended daytime hours, or to stay late for extended evening hours. This is entirely optional and paid at your standard hourly rate. - Date Night & Weekend Babysitting: You will have the first choice to cover additional evening or weekend babysitting shifts for the twins. - Dog Sitting: When our family travels, you will get first priority for paid overnight or weekend dog-sitting opportunities to care for our dog in the environment he already knows and loves.
