Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • 12 hour shifts.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department.
  • Ensures that all direct reports follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety practices.
  • Train and supervises Team Members on correct procedures to be used when making maintenance repairs.
  • Monitor all production and plant utilities' equipment efficiencies.
  • Supervise, develop and train Team Members on best maintenance practices.
  • Ensure daily preventative maintenance routing sheets are completed.
  • And, any additional duties that may be assigned by Management.

Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations as it pertains to plant operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to understand and operate the systems and equipment used at the facility; and, ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
  • Ability to perform and analyze various system checks.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them appropriately; and, prepare maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to work on a team and cooperate with others; positive attitude.
  • Ability to work without supervision; self-motivation and self-direction.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details; good analytical problem solving ability.
