Job Summary:
Pahrump Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an RN/LPN Supervisor to lead and support our nursing team. In this role, you will oversee nurses and nursing assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent care to our residents. You will assist in developing individualized care plans, direct staff to meet resident needs, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and serve as the in-house supervisor.
Essential Functions:
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing practices
  • Monitors residents, documents conditions and reactions, and reports changes to physicians, families, and appropriate parties
  • Takes and evaluates vital signs to assess resident condition and identify changes
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
  • Provides coaching and corrective action for nursing staff as needed
  • Communicates resident status updates with families and physicians
  • Updates care plans, ADLs, and documentation based on changes in condition
  • Completes Quality Assurance audits and participates in performance improvement initiatives
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Licensure, and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment (Required)
  • Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred
  • Strong understanding of the nursing process and supervisory responsibilities
