Job Title: RN Supervisor โ€“ Skilled Nursing Facility (Travel Contract)

Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week (3 x 8-hour shifts + 1 x 12-hour shift)
Shift Times: 3:00 PMโ€“11:00 PM, 11:00 PMโ€“7:00 AM, or 7:00 PMโ€“7:00 AM

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee clinical operations during off-shifts for a 180-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. The RN Supervisor will provide clinical leadership, mentor staff, coordinate patient flow, and ensure quality patient care across five specialized units.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Previous Charge Nurse experience required
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates not accepted (must reside 75+ miles from the facility)
  • EPIC experience required
  • BLS certification required
Required Skills
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
  • Code management and emergency preparedness
  • Staff supervision, coaching, and mentoring
  • IV starts, PICC line management, and wound care
  • Infection control, incident reporting, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance
  • De-escalation and managing assaultive behaviors
  • New admissions, staffing coordination, and patient flow management
Patient Population

Residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, diabetes, cardiac conditions, orthopedic rehabilitation, and long-term care needs.

Special Equipment

Experience with PICC lines, wound vacs, nephrostomy tubes, tube feedings, indwelling catheters, and colostomies preferred.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Scrubs: Any
Orientation: Day shift during the first week
