Job description

If you're tired of overnight call and weekend obligations — this is the role you've been waiting for.

Texas Eye and Cataract has a modern, physician-owned ambulatory surgery center in Midlothian, Texas, and we're looking for an experienced CRNA to join a team that genuinely loves what they do. This is a 1099 independent contractor position built for clinicians who want to do exceptional work, go home at a reasonable hour, and actually enjoy their colleagues.

What Your Days Look Like

You'll work in a brand new, clean, purpose-built facility alongside a skilled ophthalmic surgical team performing cataract and refractive procedures. The case volume is consistent and efficient — high-quality work without the chaos. No trauma. No overnight stays. No weekends.

Why CRNAs Choose Texas Eye and Cataract

  • No call. No weekends. Your time away from work is yours — full stop.
  • 1099 contractor model — maximize your earning potential and tax flexibility
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
  • Brand-new, state-of-the-art facility — the equipment and environment you'd design yourself
  • Tight-knit, respectful team — we take the work seriously, not ourselves
  • Focused case mix — ophthalmic anesthesia done at the highest level

What We're Looking For

  • Active CRNA licensure in Texas (or eligibility)
  • 2+ years of clinical experience; ophthalmic or ASC experience a strong plus
  • A professional who values efficiency, precision, and collegiality
  • Someone who wants to build a long-term relationship — not just fill a shift
