Job description

Weekend RN Supervisor - FULL TIME
*1 year experience preferred in Long Term Care
*Must possess current, unencumbered active RN License.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
-Assist the DON in directing day to day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations amp; guidelines govern the long term care facility.
-Participate in facility surveys (Inspections) made by authorized govt agencies as requested by the administrator or DON.
-Ensure that a sufficient number of nursing staff are available each shift amp; that routine nursing care is provided to meet the daily nursing care needs of each resident. (PPD)
-Delegate to each charge nurse the authority responsibility and accountability necessary to perform his/her assigned duties.
-Daily rounds of nursing dept to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
-Develop and maintain a good working relationship with nursing personnel as well as other depts within the nursing facility.
-Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
-Ensure that nursing dept has adequate supplies (PPE etc.) that are readily available to personnel
