Job Description
Corewell Health is offering up to $10,000 as a sign on bonus for this opportunity!
7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every weekend
Weekend Option Program:
Weekend RNs/LPNs will be required to work 48 out of 52 weekends per calendar year.
Weekends are defined as Saturday and Sunday for day shift and Friday and Saturday night for night shift.
RNs/LPNs can request up to 48 hours of PTO on their weekend shifts as well as 48 hours of exchanging a weekend shift for a weekday shift, for a total of 96 hours 'off' of the weekend requirement. This would be given in accordance with unit guidelines with allotted PTO as well as peak times, etc.
RNs/LPNs may request 1 holiday off per calendar year that falls on the weekend. The RN/LPN would only work the holiday if it fell on the weekend, they will not be moved off a weekend to work on a holiday.
RN's receive an additional $10/hour plus base pay
LPN's receive an additional $8/hour plus base pay

Scope of work
Registered Nurse (RN)
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician. Documents care provided via computer/written patient record in a manner consistent with guidelines.
