Description:Do you have a passion for public health, prevention, and patient education? Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Clinic Nurse, Immunization Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our growing team!
This position plays a key role in protecting the health of our communities through vaccine administration, inventory management, patient outreach, and immunization program coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments to patients of all ages
  • Monitor and maintain vaccine inventory, including VFC and private stock
  • Ensure proper vaccine storage, temperature monitoring, and documentation compliance
  • Coordinate immunization reminder and recall outreach for patients due for vaccines
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and WebIZ
  • Assist with vaccine ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
  • Ensure compliance with CDC, ACIP, KDHE, VFC, and other regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with providers and care teams to support preventive care initiatives
  • Educate patients and families regarding immunizations and vaccine schedules

Requirements:
  • Active Kansas RN or LPN license
  • CPR certification for healthcare providers

Preferred:

  • Experience in immunizations, public health, primary care, or pediatric care
  • Experience with vaccine programs including VFC and WebIZ
  • Experience with electronic medical records (eCW preferred)
  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
