Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for the field repair or installation of the Zenner AMR/AMI products including Stealth reader systems at customer sites. Responsible for the assembly of finished electronics products, components, or sub-assemblies.   Reads work instructions, work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.  Assembles various parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. All job responsibilities are to be executed in harmony with our Quality Procedures, Code of Business Ethics and Conduct policy and our Core Values which sets the standard by which we operate and how we treat others.

Essential Skills and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent required

·         Associates degree in technical discipline or 3 years actual work experience in electronic field service a plus

·         Ability to understand failure methods and determine ways to test

·         Ability to work with hand tools and power tools

·         Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length stoop, kneel, and crouch.

·         Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

·         Travel up to 80% will be required during the week, travel on weekends occasionally at times.

·         Ability to read & understand procedures, layouts

·         AMR/AMI experience a plus but not required
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

General electronics technician functions include field installation, troubleshooting and repair of the Zenner equipment and AMI system.

70%

Responsible for the assembly of finished Stealth products, components, or sub-assemblies.   Inspects and tests all finished products, components, subassemblies, etc. to assure they meet the accepted quality standards.

Assembles various parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.

Prepares technical reports for customers and management as required

All other duties as assigned

Follows all quality procedures, safety policies, Code of Business Ethics and Conduct policy while performing their jobs

Salary Range 20 to 25 an hour

On the job training with opportunity to advance if qualified
