You will be working in an outpatient office environment that prioritizes client-centered care within a collaborative and supportive framework, all from the comfort of your own home.

• Assess clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans leveraging modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
• Conduct regular therapy sessions, adapting techniques based on the individual histories of clients and their unique recovery goals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to obtain Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits at a cost covered by the organization.
• Collaborate with our clinical team to enhance treatment outcomes and participate in optional monthly peer group meetings for professional support.
• Utilize community resources and recovery support options like AA or SMART Recovery, and guide clients in integrating these into their treatment.
• Minimize administrative burdens by leveraging our team’s support for billing and paperwork, enabling you to focus solely on client care.

Your clients will primarily consist of individuals seeking support in managing their alcohol use, ranging from those pursuing moderation to those who require complete abstinence. Your role will involve understanding and respecting their personal goals while integrating harm-reduction strategies into your treatment approach. This tailored focus allows for a compassionate and supportive environment where clients can thrive in their recovery journey.

• A valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in the state of California.
• A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Training in trauma-informed care and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or Motivational Interviewing.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and build rapport with clients while fostering a supportive environment.
• A deep understanding of the harm-reduction model and community recovery options available to clients.

• Experience leading support groups or workshops within the mental health or addiction recovery space.
• Prior experience working in outpatient behavioral health settings and familiarity with treatment protocols in alcohol use disorders.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and online therapy modalities is strongly preferred.
