• Conduct initial assessments with clients to gauge their mental health status, employing validated tools and practices.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, focusing on the specific issues faced by each client.
• Provide ongoing counseling sessions that address a range of concerns including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
• Regularly evaluate and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consult with psychiatrists when medication management or additional interventions are required.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and ethical guidelines in counseling.

Your clients will comprise a wide spectrum of individuals dealing with various mental health issues, including mood disorders, behavioral challenges, and substance use disorders. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about helping clients from diverse backgrounds achieve healthier mental states and improve their quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license issued by the state of Texas.
• Proven clinical experience, particularly working with a varied patient demographic.
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and active listening skills.

• At least two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for virtual counseling sessions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
