This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical mental health services under a professional and supportive framework. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering positive changes in the lives of your clients, utilizing your skills in psychotherapy across diverse settings.

About the Organization

At Advanced Mental Health Clinic, we are committed to delivering a variety of psychotherapy modalities to adolescents, adults, and families. Our clinic prioritizes a culture of positivity, professionalism, and personal growth for our staff, allowing counselors to build impactful caseloads while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. We take pride in our genuine approach to therapy, focusing on the therapeutic relationship as we work to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health, thereby enhancing our clients' quality of life.

Work Environment

This position is structured to allow for a remote work setting while operating within an outpatient framework. Counselors have access to a modern and newly designed office equipped with necessary technological support, marketing materials, and resources. Our administration provides comprehensive support, enabling counselors to concentrate on patient care without the burden of excessive administrative tasks. We uphold a collegial and collaborative atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork and shared goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a range of psychotherapeutic techniques to deliver tailored services to individuals and families, aimed at addressing and treating diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
  • Perform psychosocial assessments and draft initial discharge plans to guide treatment efforts, ensuring a clear pathway towards recovery for each patient.
  • Conduct therapeutic sessions—whether individual, group, or family—aligned with each patient’s treatment plan, adapting methods as necessary to meet their unique needs.
  • Develop initial treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, coordinating with other services and revising plans as required to improve treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services delivered, adhering to professional and facility standards, and updating records in response to ongoing assessments.
  • Manage an assigned caseload effectively, participating in treatment team meetings, and collaborating with interdisciplinary staff to ensure holistic service delivery to patients.
  • Respond proactively to patient concerns, ensuring that any unmet needs are addressed swiftly and effectively.
  • Recognize and uphold patient safety as a fundamental priority in every aspect of care.
  • Fulfill additional tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisory staff or as needed to support operational efficacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic works with a varied client base, servicing both adult and child/adolescent populations. This diverse demographic includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, and as a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make profound impacts on their journeys toward recovery. You will employ evidence-based practices to help clients overcome barriers and achieve personal milestones in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
  • Valid state or national licensure as a professional therapy provider is mandatory; candidates must hold licensure as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
  • A strong understanding and experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across various life stages is essential for effective client engagement.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with therapeutic interventions specifically tailored to children and adolescents is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health therapy and a commitment to ongoing professional development will enhance your candidacy.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, and paid parental leave.
  • Generous vacation policy offering three weeks of paid time off annually, promoting a strong work-lifestyle balance.
  • Eligibility for annual stock awards as a part of our commitment to recognize and reward your contributions.
  • A supportive outpatient practice environment, with no on-call, night, or weekend responsibilities.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Advanced Mental Health Clinic, we are committed to the professional development of our staff. As part of our team, you will have access to continued education resources and opportunities for mentorship that can enhance your skills and qualifications.
