• Conduct initial assessments and create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities.
• Document each session meticulously, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in mental health documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educational staff if applicable, to coordinate care for clients receiving services through schools.
• Maintain an organized and professional digital workspace, keeping up-to-date with client records and progress notes.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your therapeutic techniques and stay current with mental health trends.
• Establish reliable communication with clients, offering consistent support and check-ins as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to foster a cohesive team dynamic and share best practices.

Our focus at Renewed Perspectives Counseling Center includes a wide spectrum of clients, from children and adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and other psychological concerns. Your role is pivotal in empowering clients, helping them navigate their struggles, and facilitating meaningful progress in their mental well-being.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted mental health license in Illinois (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, PsyD, PhD).
• A clean disciplinary record with no pending actions against your professional license.
• Proficiency in conducting intake assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing ongoing treatment plans.
• Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.

• Minimum of two years of direct experience providing psychotherapy to adults and/or youth in clinical settings.
• Specialized training in evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in school-based settings.
