• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand the social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by clients.
• Develop individualized service plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress, ensuring each client receives personalized attention.
• Provide direct counseling and support for individuals and families navigating various difficulties, from mental health issues to crises.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create tailored service plans, connecting them to vital community resources and services that can enhance their well-being.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies, performing risk assessments and safety planning as necessary to ensure the safety and stability of clients.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with community agencies to advocate for clients and coordinate services effectively.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about our services, promoting mental health, and social justice issues.
• Take part in case conferences and team meetings, sharing insights and participating in ongoing training to enhance service delivery.

Your work will directly impact a diverse client population, including individuals and families from various backgrounds who are facing significant life challenges. Clients may include those experiencing mental health crises, addiction recovery, or those overlapped with socio-economic hurdles like poverty and homelessness. • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• Commitment to social and economic justice, with a solid understanding of community resources and trauma-informed care principles.

• Previous experience in a social service agency or similar therapeutic environment will be advantageous.
