• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges that may impact their recovery journey.
• Develop personalized service plans incorporating tailored goals, interventions, and methods for tracking clients' progress over time.
• Provide compassionate counseling and support to individuals and families facing a range of challenges related to substance use and mental health.
• Collaborate closely with clients to ensure they have access to essential community resources, services, and programs that can facilitate their recovery.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention, perform risk assessments, and establish necessary safety plans to ensure the well-being of clients.
• Engage in teamwork with community agencies and organizations to streamline services and enhance advocacy efforts for clients.
• Lead community outreach initiatives promoting awareness of mental health and addiction services, thereby contributing to eliminating stigma.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development training to continuously enhance service delivery.

In this role, you will engage primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification from substance addiction, as well as those struggling with mental health issues compounded by their substance use. This work necessitates a profound understanding of the complexities involved in addiction recovery, along with the provision of compassionate, evidence-based support.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and social justice initiatives.
• Exemplary communication skills coupled with cultural competence in dealing with diverse populations.
• Proficient problem-solving skills that allow for innovative approaches to client challenges and setbacks.

• Prior experience in a social service agency or a healthcare setting, especially focused on addiction recovery or mental health.
• Familiarity with community resources available for individuals facing homelessness, domestic violence, and poverty.
