Marcum Engineering / Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering is looking for an experienced, licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to help shape the future of our commercial and light industrial projects. This role can be based in St. Louis, MO; Belleville, IL; or Lexington, KY.

EssentialJob Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership for designing and specifying electrical systems for commercial and light industrial projects, consisting of power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, emergency power, and special systems, for the purpose of bidding and construction
  • Prepare written technical specifications, perform code reviews, and stamp all documents requiring certification
  • Design using AutoCAD and Revit as needed for plan production
  • Oversee, check, and stamp electrical drawings for compliance with Illinois and Kentucky regulations
  • Focus on client relationships by demonstrating strong performance and creative solutions to meet the clients' objectives
  • Serve as a resource, leader, and mentor for the other engineers and designers within the department

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Valid Driver's License in the state of residence
