This role particularly requires expertise in addressing complex emotional and behavioral issues, employing therapeutic interventions that enhance the quality of life for these individuals and provide necessary support for their families.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas.
  • Ability to commit to 5-10 hours of availability during key after-school hours (4-7 pm), with a willingness to work weekends when possible.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory for in-home therapy sessions.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing positive behavior support is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly with those who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
  • Familiarity with culturally competent practices and bilingual therapeutic techniques, especially in Spanish or Portuguese.
