Job description

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck/EPJ Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently and safely operating reach trucks and electric pallet jacks to move, store, and organize inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with material handling equipment and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. Join us and contribute to a smooth, efficient operation!

Location: Romeoville, IL
Schedule: Monday- Friday-
All Shifts Available
6 AM- 2:30 PM, 2 PM- 10 PM- 5:30 AM

Pay rate: $19.50-$22/hr
Duties:
Here’s a shorter version:
  1. Operate reach trucks and EPJs to move goods within the warehouse.
  2. Load, unload, and organize inventory safely and efficiently.
  3. Ensure accurate order picking and preparation for shipment.
  4. Perform basic equipment checks and report malfunctions.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  6. Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience operating reach trucks and EPJs in a warehouse environment. Minimum six months.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, move, and stack heavy materials.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in inventory handling and order picking.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, if needed.
  • Communication Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
