HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join our Cardiology team. Candidates with all levels of cardiac sonography experience are encouraged to apply. Position Specifics:

• Department: Cardiology
• Core Function: Imaging
• Schedule: Full Time, 36 to 40 hours per week with 10 hour shifts (7:00am-5:30pm). Call Requirements: One weekday call shift per week and every 7-8th weekend.
• Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital
• Location: O'Fallon, IL
• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
• Compensation aligned with your experience

Education Qualifications:

• Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in allied health or applied sciences is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED AND 5 years working as a sonographer may be considered in lieu of associates degree.

Experience Qualifications:

• 2 years of cardiac sonography/ultrasound experience is required.
• 7 years of sonography/ultrasound experience (with 2 years in cardiac sonography/ultrasound) is required if meeting the education equivalency.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• Specialty certification in adult echocardiography or pediatric echocardiography preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
