Job Description
Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental treatments including fillings, crowns, and extractions
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas to maintain a safe clinical environment
Prepare and organize treatment rooms with necessary tools and materials prior to procedures
Take and develop dental X-rays in compliance with radiology safety standards
Accurately document patient medical histories, treatment details, and maintain updated records
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide post-operative care instructions
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing office workflow efficiently
Monitor and maintain dental supplies inventory; order materials as necessary
Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines including OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as fabricating temporary crowns or impressions (training provided)
Salary Range
Full-time $37,900 - $49,800 per year

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM โ 4:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM โ 1:00 PM
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Radiology Certification (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail
Patient-focused with a professional and team-oriented attitude

- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credentials preferred
Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is a plus
