Job description

Description:

BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN: BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRUGGLE AND PROGRESS

Help create meaningful change, one moment at a time. Every prompt, every response, and every interaction builds toward greater independence, communication, and confidence for the children you support.
We’re not here to babysit, to color inside the lines, or to slap a label on a kid and call it a day. We’re here to ignite potential in every child, every session, and every clinician. If you want your work to roar, if you want your days to matter — TheraTree is your launchpad. Let’s do this.

WHO WE ARE

TheraTree Pediatric Therapy is on a mission to grow minds, bodies, and spirits through integrated, high-quality pediatric therapy. We bring together Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Mental Health, and Neuropsychological Diagnostics under one roof to support the whole child and the entire family system.

At TheraTree, Applied Behavior Analysis is the steady presence that helps a child move through frustration, build new skills, and experience success where it once felt impossible. ABA is integrated into a larger picture that turns everyday struggles into achievable skills. We are building an environment where clinicians are supported, challenged, and able to grow while making a measurable impact. We are looking for a Behavior Technician who wants to be part of our collaborative team, contribute to something that is growing, and do work that genuinely matters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work face-to-face with the most incredible, challenging, beautiful humans on the planet – our clients.
  • Shape behavior into breakthroughs by managing challenges with creativity, heart, and science-backed strategies.
  • Engage in supervision with our Bahavior Analysts not just to meet requirements, but to evolve, learn, and grow your impact.
  • Collect data that does more than fill forms — it tells a story of progress, setbacks, and ultimately, triumph.
  • Execute standardized assessments, under the direction of your supervising BCBA.
  • Lead projects, guide interns, and empower volunteers to contribute to something bigger than themselves.
  • Be the first to cheer: every success is fuel for more — and your celebrations help light the way.
  • Join forces with our elite squad of therapists — OT, PT, SLP, Mental Health — to support the whole child, fully.
  • Be an ambassador for ABA — educating families, communities, and even skeptics about how behavior therapy transforms lives.
Requirements:

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 40 hour minimum RBT training.
  • Skill competency check off from supervisor.
  • Passes national board exam and registration obtained from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • CPR & First Aid certification.
  • Pass background check.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Individuals who enjoy working with children and being actively engaged.
  • People who are reliable, patient, and willing to learn.
  • Written and verbal communication skills to connect with kids, families, and teams like a boss.
  • You thrive where others tap out — in active environments, with kiddos in motion and hearts in your hands.
  • Bonus points if you’ve got a degree in Behavioral Health, Psych, Early Ed, or Special Ed — but your experience speaks volumes too

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

- Structured onboarding with clear expectations and support

- Competitive base pay with transparent bonus opportunities
- Consistent weekly income with support for cancellations and no-shows
- PTO, paid holidays, and CEU support available

- Retirement plan with employer contributions—invested in your future
- Clear expectations for how compensation is calculated so there are no surprises
- Flexible schedule options including 4 day work weeks

- No weekends required

- Full Time and Part Time flexibility available.

- Admin team handles scheduling, authorizations, and intake coordination
- Access to therapy materials, sensory equipment, and clinical support tools
- Collaborative team environment with ST, PT, OT, and mental health on-site

- Real-time coaching and feedback from supervising clinicians
- Opportunities to develop specialty areas such as sensory integration, feeding, or executive functioning.
- Leadership and program development pathways for clinicians who want to grow beyond direct care

If you are looking for a role where you can make a real impact, build valuable skills, and be supported every step of the way, we would love to connect.
