Job description

BARBERTON MANCAN TEMPORARY STAFFING EMPLOYMENT AGENCY is assisting a unionized, local, Barberton company seeking dependable, determined Reclaim Technicians.
Monday-Thursday -- 5:45am-4pm ** 4 - 10 hour shifts ** 3 day weekend!
Pay is $16.25/hr- $17/hr when hired in.
Full time, temporary to permanent opportunity
Job Summary:
The Reclaim Technician is responsible for removing worn rubber from metal military components so they can be reprocessed and prepared for new rubber application. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that requires comfort working with industrial cleaning chemicals and performing repetitive, physical tasks in a production environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Soak metal parts in MEK and/or acetone to soften and break down rubber material.
Manually remove rubber from metal components using scrapers, brushes, and other hand tools.
Ensure parts are fully cleaned and ready for the next phase of production.
Accurately track production quantities and completed work.
Maintain an organized work area and properly label and stage parts.
Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and solvents.
Wear required PPE and comply with company safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience working with cleaning chemicals, solvents, paints, or similar materials preferred.
Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on work for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
Comfortable working in a non-glamorous, industrial environment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Work Environment:Industrial/manufacturing sett.
Regular exposure to chemicals such as MEK and acetone.
Standing, scrubbing, and manual labor required throughout the shift
