Position Overview – Security Agent (PT)

Security Agents are trained to support multiple security functions across airport operations, including:

  • Aircraft Access Control – Monitor jetbridge access and ensure only authorized personnel enter aircraft while on the ground
  • Ramp Access Control – Provide security inspections and access control on the aircraft ramp (AOA)
  • Aircraft Search – Conduct full interior aircraft security inspections in compliance with TSA and company regulations
  • Catering Security – Inspect catering facilities, equipment, food containers, and transport vehicles
  • Charter Screening Security – Support screening operations for professional and collegiate sports charter flights in accordance with TSA guidelines

Requirements

All positions require eligibility for airport security badging, which includes passing a 10-year criminal background check. Individuals with felony convictions or outstanding warrants are not eligible.

  • Open availability required (including weekends and holidays)
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must successfully complete all required training and recurrent training
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship upon hire
  • Clean driving record required
