American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a hospital radiology department, working 12-hour weekend day shifts.
Job Details
• Hospital-based radiology department setting,
• Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures as primary scope of work,
• 3x12-hour day shifts per week, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM Friday through Sunday (swing hours to be discussed during interview),
• 36 hours per week,
• Uses Epic for charting,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience required,
• Active ARRT (R) registration required,
• CT certification required,
• BLS certification (AHA) required - must not expire prior to start date,
• Proficiency with image quality evaluation, contrast administration, radiation safety measures (ALARA), sterile technique, and infection prevention,
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications,
• License required if applicable,
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration,
Additional Information
• Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and transfer,
• Prepares and administers contrast per Radiologist protocol,
• Submits images and clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation and evaluates image quality,
• Follows radiation safety measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety,
• Supervises and evaluates student radiographers in the clinical setting,
• A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment; candidates are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer when available,
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
