Job description

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for answering calls coming into the Radiology Reading Rooms. Will represent Radiology in a positive and helpful manner to all callers and perform a wide variety of call center services (i.e., take messages) to assist callers. Will answer, triage and transfer all incoming calls to the appropriate Radiologist and/or Radiology Resident, acquiring the appropriate information as needed to assist both the attending/resident and the caller. Must be proficient with multiple software programs for call processing and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience preferably in a health care setting; or, equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, have excellent communication and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Work Days:

40 hrs/week; 8am-4:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation.
