Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer (Hands-On | Identity Resolution & Activation)
Location: Remote or Memphis, TN (Hybrid)

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, and optimization of a unified customer data platform. This role is focused on building and enabling identity resolution, data modeling, and activation capabilities within Salesforce Data Cloud.

This is not an architecture-only role. The ideal candidate will have direct, hands-on experience working within Salesforce Data Cloud and be able to clearly articulate real-world implementations from data ingestion through activation.

You will partner closely with engineering, marketing, and CRM teams to enable high-quality, unified customer profiles and activate those profiles across downstream platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize Salesforce Data Cloud pipelines and data models Implement and manage identity resolution processes, including matching rules and unified profile creation Configure and maintain Data Model Objects, Data Graphs, and Calculated Insights Develop and support segmentation and activation workflows across CRM, marketing, and external platforms Enable and optimize data activation capabilities beyond ingestion Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the data lifecycle Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions Support ongoing enhancements and optimization of the customer data platform

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data engineering, customer data platforms, or CRM systems Proven hands-on experience working within Salesforce Data Cloud Experience with Data Model Objects, Data Graphs, and identity resolution frameworks Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and modeling workflows Understanding of customer data platforms and master data management concepts Experience integrating and activating data across downstream systems Ability to clearly explain technical implementations and design decisions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with streaming or event-driven data pipelines Experience with modern data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift Experience with Python, dbt, or similar tools Experience with Reverse ETL or customer data activation tools Exposure to broader CRM and marketing platform ecosystems
