You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Participate in defining technical requirements for business intelligence solutions
  • Coordinate project tasks and support planning for business intelligence projects
  • Contribute to data modeling design and ensure data integrity under guidance
  • Develop and enhance business intelligence tools with some supervision
  • Perform analyses, interpret results, and develop insights with oversight
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a suite of internal and external-facing reports used to monitor and communicate program performance
  • Provide support and collaborate with cross-functional teams in business domains
  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to support their development

Duties:
  • Lead discovery sessions with business leaders to scope technical requirements for novel and non-standard business intelligence solutions
  • Drive project planning for the development of business intelligence solutions to support existing analyses, perform new analyses, interpret results, develop actionable insights and present recommendations for use across the company
  • Lead solution design for the development of business intelligence models and tools to support decision making by business leaders
  • Represent the business intelligence team's accountability by delivering subject matter expertise for supported business domains, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization
  • Deliver analyses, interpret results, and provide actionable insights of business solutions to business leaders, presenting recommendations for use by organizational stakeholders of business intelligence tools
  • Drive the development and maintenance of a suite of internal and external-facing reports used to monitor and communicate program performance
  • Represent the business intelligence team's accountability by delivering subject matter expertise for supported business domains, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization
  • Serve as mentor to other team members, supporting growth in technical expertise, business acumen, and project rigor to elevate team capabilities

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience working with relational databases and database structures
  • 3+ years of experience developing in Business Intelligence/Visualization software (preferably Tableau or Power BI)
  • Demonstrated history of navigating cross-functional/cross-segment enterprise groups within an organization

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience working with cloud-based data engineering and analytics (e.g., AWS, Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Experience working with data warehouse analysis and modelling, with the ability to read Data Flow Diagrams, Conceptual and Physical Models
  • Experience writing process and end-user documentation to support maintenance of analytics solutions
  • Experience with a programming language, ideally Python
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology
  • Healthcare industry experience, ideally with claims data and case management data

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
