Primary to St Joseph Medical Center, but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital - Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital - Enumclaw, WA; St Joseph Medical Center - Tacoma, WA
# of beds 189 + 32 transition beds and 1:1s around SJMC
Ratios 1:9-10 days 1:11-16 nights
Required Certifications CNA
Common diagnoses/Types of patients COPD, COVID, Heart failure, abdominal surgeries, dialysis, cardiac, med-tele, psych, infectious disease, ortho, neuro (Stroke/TBI), heart cath lab, general post-surgical
Experience or 'Must have' skills Vital signs, med-tele level of care
Job Duties: i.e. Blood Sugars, Insertion of Straight Catheter, EKGs, Insertion or Removal of IV's? PIV removal, foley removal; will not take blood sugars
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Various/Various
Shifts & Scheduling Nights
Weekend Requirement Every other
