Job description

Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist to shape AI-powered and human-centered experiences across digital products. You’ll define how systems communicate by designing intelligent, responsive interactions that feel natural, clear, and useful.

In this role, you’ll bring expertise in conversational design, crafting dialogue for chatbots and AI assistants that builds trust and clarity. You’ll extend that thinking across product experiences by guiding UX writing, voice and tone, and scalable content systems.

Ultimately, you’ll help design not just what products say, but how they think, respond, and connect with users.

This role is centered on product and UX content strategy. While adjacent, experience in social media, marketing, PR, or traditional copywriting is not the focus of the work our clients partner with us to solve.

Quick Facts

  • Location: Remote-first (U.S. – East Coast)
  • Employment Classification: Full-time, Exempt
  • Travel: Occasional travel for in-person company gatherings in Philadelphia
  • Salary Range: $72,000 – $110,000
Requirements:

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive content strategy across product experiences, from onboarding flows to advanced workflows, including conversational interactions
  • Craft clear, purposeful product content across interfaces and natural language experiences
  • Lead content design for complex initiatives, owning end-to-end execution across platforms, including UI, chat, voice, and multimodal experiences
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers to create cohesive, intuitive user experiences
  • Develop and scale voice and tone systems, content frameworks, and reusable patterns for consistency across products
  • Use research, behavioral data, and usability insights to continuously improve user interactions and outcomes
  • Identify and lead opportunities to evolve product language, taxonomy, and information architecture, while establishing content workflows, governance models, and scalable systems across teams

What You Bring

  • Experience shaping content for digital products, including UX writing, content design, or content strategy
  • Ability to design for both interface-based and conversational experiences, such as chatbots, voice assistants, or similar systems
  • Proven skill in designing conversational flows, including concepts like intent recognition, turn-taking, and fallback strategies
  • A user-centered approach to language. You think about what users need to do and how content helps them succeed
  • Strong foundation in building scalable voice and tone systems and structured content frameworks
  • Clear and collaborative communication style, with the ability to align stakeholders and advocate for content decisions
  • Comfort navigating complex or ambiguous environments and bringing clarity through systems thinking

Nice-to-Haves

  • A background in linguistics, writing, psychology, communication, human-computer interaction, or a related field
  • Experience writing scripts or screenwriting
  • Exposure to consulting, agency, or other client-facing environments
  • Previous work creating or refining experience in the customer service space
  • Comfort mentoring or coaching others on UX writing or content design practices
