The Property Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance, and daily operations of the property, providing leadership to the leasing, maintenance, and administrative team. This role combines hands-on management of leasing, financial performance, compliance, and resident relations with team supervision to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional resident experience.

WHAT WILL I DO?

  • Supervise and coach the leasing, maintenance, and administrative team, promoting a culture of accountability, service, and growth
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring quality control, safety, and prompt resolution of maintenance needs
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure timely completion of work orders and capital improvements
  • Enforce Fair Housing laws and company policies consistently
  • Manage lease renewals, rent collection, and delinquency in accordance with company standards
  • Monitor and control expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings
  • Handle escalated resident concerns and complete required operational, financial, and compliance reports accurately and on time
  • Manage capital project execution and property-level marketing initiatives using current market trends

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of property management experience
  • Experience in customer service, financial reporting, and vendor management required
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, landlord/tenant laws, and applicable housing regulations
  • Proficiency with property management software; experience with Entrata or AppFolio preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required
