Job description

  • Plan, schedule, and assist engineers with documentation, process, and general engineering support activities
  • Support several engineers with administrative and computer skills, including word processing, data entry, and preliminary document preparation
  • Perform change management, requirements capture, milestone tracking, and financial metrics activities
  • Edit and format software/hardware documentation and verify change requests are properly implemented
  • Perform data conversion for software development and project file maintenance
  • Coordinate, track, and report inquiries and problem resolution through documentation pre-release, release, and revision
  • Provide MS Office, requirements capture database, change management, and tracking tool expertise and generate reports
  • Operate within a Scaled Agile Framework environment
  • Coordinate Third-Party Intellectual Property documentation
  • Prepare presentations and support engineering web page development
  • Collect metrics and prepare analysis presentation materials
  • Track action items and tasks and help drive their closure
  • Assist with Bid & Proposal processes and follow up with bidding engineers to meet deadlines
  • Network with contacts outside the area of expertise
  • Serve as liaison between engineering teams, management, and customers
  • Coordinate several projects and complex engineering support activities while balancing priorities and schedules
  • Assist with training and mentoring peers

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint experience are required
  • Experience communicating with a wide variety of technical and management personnel preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • No security clearance required
