About the Role:
We Got Game LLC in Mount Prospect, IL is looking for an energetic and passionate Kids Sports Coach to join our team on a part-time basis! This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young athletes, build confidence, and make a real difference in kids' lives through the power of sports. If you love working with children and have a heart for coaching, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate sports practices and games for youth participants
  • Teach fundamental sports skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun, positive environment
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of all children during sessions
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and program updates
  • Set up and break down equipment before and after practices or events
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor for young athletes
  • Assist with evening and weekend programming, camps, or special sports events as needed
Requirements:
  • Prior experience coaching, teaching, or working with children in a sports or recreational setting
  • Strong knowledge of one or more sports (soccer, basketball, flag football, baseball, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with kids and parents
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to evening and weekend availability
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured personal vehicle required
  • Able to commute to program sites across the NW suburbs (e.g. Mount Prospect, Schaumburg, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights)
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for youth development
