Are you looking for a great opportunity? As a Production Supervisor, you're going to be responsible for safe and efficient day-to-day operations of designated production areas. You'll supervise group leaders andproduction operators, plan and prioritize daily operations to ensure operations run efficiently and according toschedule. Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe operation of all production processes and that employees are working safely at all times.
  • Support and comply with all requirements of ISO/QMS and SHE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
  • Communicate production priorities to group leaders and operators. Assign daily tasks as needed.
  • Administrative duties and tasks such as employee management, coaching, performance reviews, overtime assignments as necessary, shift reports, batch reports, maintenancework orders, incident reports, etc.
  • Coordinateandmaintainemployee training activities and ensure all training requirements are met. Validate employee competencies.
  • Prioritizeworkloadsrequirements to meet production supply plan demands.
  • Interactwithstakeholderstoensure effective communication and outcome on a daily basis.
  • Troubleshoot process upsets and production issues to ensure the efficient utilization of equipment, raw materials, and labor to meet production standards. Resolve problems in the production area as necessary.
Required skills and experience
  • 5 years of previous experience in leadership roles in a manufacturing environment, within chemicals are preferred.
  • Experience in a union environment is a plus.
  • Availableto work 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends on occasions.
  • Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking) is required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in science or Business field preferred.
