The ideal candidate is a highly organized, relationship-driven professional with a deep understanding of the broadcast production landscape. You will serve as the critical link between production leadership, talent, and scheduling, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, every time.

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Source, recruit, and maintain a deep national roster of qualified freelance crews across all production disciplines, including technical, editorial, and operational roles
  • Schedule and assign crew for live productions, managed services accounts, and special events, ensuring appropriate coverage and skill alignment for each engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for crew members from confirmation through wrap, managing logistics, availability, and any last-minute changes
  • Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with freelancers, contractors, and production professionals nationwide
  • Coordinate with Producers, Executive Producers, and client stakeholders to understand crew needs, production requirements, and scheduling parameters
  • Manage crew agreements, deal memos, and rate negotiations in coordination with HR and production leadership
  • Track and maintain crew availability, booking history, performance notes, and contact information in BMG's systems
  • Proactively identify and develop new crew sources through networking, referrals, industry events, and outreach
  • Ensure all crew members are properly onboarded, credentialed, and compliant with client and BMG requirements prior to deployment
  • Monitor crew fulfillment across active productions and flag coverage gaps or conflicts to the appropriate team members
  • Support workforce planning for large-scale events, seasonal surges, and new client launches requiring rapid crew mobilization
  • Collaborate with HR on contractor agreements, onboarding documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain a positive, professional working environment by communicating clearly and respectfully with crew, clients, and internal teams
  • Assist with the collection of post-show contractor assessments and bi-annual contractor surveys
  • Book and manage travel for assigned travel crew
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in crewing, production coordination, talent management, or a related broadcast/live production role
  • Strong working knowledge of broadcast production roles, workflows, and industry terminology across technical and creative disciplines
  • Proven ability to manage multiple bookings, schedules, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, comfortable working with crew, clients, and production leadership at all levels
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure, including during live events and last-minute crew changes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and production management systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as production schedules require

Nice To Have:

  • Familiarity with broadcast platforms, production management software, or crewing systems
  • Existing network of vetted broadcast crew across technical and production disciplines
  • Experience coordinating crew for live multicamera, remote/REMI, or studio productions
  • Experience working within a managed services or staffing environment
  • Understanding of deal memos, rate structures, and union agreements in the broadcast industry

Why BMG:
At BMG, you'll be part of a team that is actively redefining how broadcast production and managed services operate. We combine cutting-edge technology with world-class talent to deliver exceptional results for the world's leading networks, brands, and institutions.
