Job Title: Process Tech I

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt


2nd Shift

Hours: 1:00pm-09:30pm

Overtime required based on production needs.

Pay: $18.00/hour


Summary Operates mixing machine to blend ingredients into compounds for processing and

ensures totes, drums, and pallets are cleaned and sanitized by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Verifies ingredients prior to mixing batches.

• Loads ingredients into mixing tank or blender.

• Starts machine and adjusts valves or devices in mixing chamber to aid in blending and

densifying mixture.

• Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency, and turns lever to unload

mixture into kettles, pick system, totes, drums, and/or hopper.

• Cleans and sanitizes mixing tanks, kettles, pick system, pumps, pipes, blender, and/or

hopper.

• Cleans and sanitizes totes, drums and blue pallets.

• Removes all standing water from the rooms using a squeegee or other available

cleaning tool.

• Cleans designated work areas.

• Assists with tote and pallet repairs.
