Job description

Objectives:
  1. Perform tests for green-sand molding, core-making, and no-bake molding processes and correctly interpret results.
  2. Perform chemical analysis of metal samples using an optical emission spectrometer.
  3. Maintain organized records for sand system data and metal analysis data.
  4. Audit molding and pouring processes and finished castings.
  5. Perform any special testing or analysis as needed.
  6. Perform other tasks as required by supervision.
  7. Minimum of three years of experience in metal and sand analysis preferred.
  8. Must have a two-year technical certificate or degree in a related field.

Requirements:
Education:
Two-year technical or college degree in related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in metal and sand analysis.
