As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Jersey City, NJ.
We are currently looking for a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Centralized Staffing Pool in New Jersey.
  • Opportunity to pick up 5-shifts per week. Monday -Friday, day shift hours between 7am-5pm.
  • In this role you will float to our different health centers in West Trenton, Princeton, Piscataway, New Brunswick, Raritan, Parsippany, Morristown, Newark, Weehawken, and Jersey City.

What You'll Do
  • Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
  • Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
  • Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
