The workload can vary each weekend, depending on patient census and acuity, so adaptability is important. These roles often involve collaborating with a leaner weekend team, requiring strong teamwork and autonomy. These competencies ensure that you can provide high-quality care and respond effectively to weekend staffing and patient demands.

What is a Weekend PRN RN?

A Weekend PRN RN (As Needed Registered Nurse) is a nursing position where the nurse works primarily on weekends and on an as-needed basis.
