The Royal Caribbean Group’s HR Transformation Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Product Associate Principal - CAM (Custom Applications Management) reporting to the Director, HR Product Owner.


This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.


Position Summary:

The Product Associate Principal - CAM (Custom Applications Management), is a strategic product leader responsible for the end-to-end ownership of our HR technology products, including SAP SuccessFactors and custom system applications. This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, product management, and technology delivery, ensuring solutions are aligned to enterprise priorities, scalable, and delivering measurable business value.

This leader executes against the organizations product vision, governs the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and drives execution across complex, cross-functional environments. They serve as the primary bridge between HR, IT, and business stakeholders, translating strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps and high-quality system outcomes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Director, HR Product Owner, this role is responsible for overseeing designated products within the HR ecosystem and leading the execution of associated Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) initiatives.

Product Support & Execution

  • Support and Execute against the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for HR platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, case management, custom applications).
  • Align product direction with enterprise workforce strategy, HR transformation goals, and business priorities.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and business, ensuring solutions meet user needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze industry trends and emerging HR technology capabilities to inform product evolution.
  • Manage system enhancements, integrations, releases, and ongoing platform optimization.
  • Drive data integrity, process standardization, and system usability across the HR vertical.

Backlog & Agile Product Management

  • Perform In-take and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear communication and prioritization based on business value, risk, and urgency.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure consistent delivery cadence while balancing competing priorities across multiple products and stakeholders.

SDLC Governance & Delivery Execution

  • Enforce SDLC governance, standards, and controls across all product initiatives.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery including requirement gather, design, build, test, deploy, and sustainment.
  • Define test strategy, scenarios, and acceptance criteria to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and future-ready.


  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership
  • Build strong partnerships with HR COEs, business leaders, and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, operations, and vendors.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for executive stakeholders.
  • Define and execute change management and communication strategies tenable adoption.

Program & Risk Management

  • Develop and manage integrated product and program plans across multiple initiatives.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints.
  • Ensure delivery to scope, timeline, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, HR technology, or enterprise systems delivery.
  • 3–5+ years of people leadership or team oversight.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-scale technology solutions.
  • Deep experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or HRIS platforms.
  • Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and/or traditional project management (PMP, SAFe, etc.)
  • Product mindset with ability to define vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC governance, system architecture, and delivery models.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into technical execution.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience leading HR transformation or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to integrated HR ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, AI-driven talent platforms).
  • Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, PMP, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Operates effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Drive outcomes, not just deliveries.
  • Balances business acumen with a product mind-set.
  • Build trust across executive, functional, and technical teams.
