Environmental Laborers are needed for immediate openings for a quickly expanding Environmental company.
Openings are for an Environmental Technician position.
Environmental Technicians will be depended upon to clean up oil spills in various environments.
The hourly rate for this position is up to $20/hr based on experience.
Duties:
  • Oil spill Cleanup
  • Oil tank installations
  • Digging
  • Backfilling
  • Cutting tanks
  • Cleaning tanks
  • Cleaning oil
  • Demolition of oil contaminated areas
  • Washing of oil contaminated areas.

Physical requirements - standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads throughout the work day, handle power tools and machinery safely, working in tight areas if necessary,
Other requirements -- good communication skills, able to work independently and with a crew, able to write clearly, have a good understanding or commercial driving requirements and company polies and procedures, commitment to safety
Environmental Technicians must be:
  • Hard working
  • Responsible
  • Able to perform the physical requirements
  • Able to respond to off hours emergency work
  • Willing to learn
  • Have a valid NYS Driver's license for all openings
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test
