Job Description

Supports the financial planning and analysis functions for consumer and small business credit card portfolios in U.S. Bank's Payments business. Primary responsibilities include monthly forecasting, completing annual plan, financial reporting, portfolio analytics, month-end close, and ad hoc projects. Also develops and maintains spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis. Uses complex financial models to complete forecasts and perform other analysis. Provides detailed variance explanations to management. Works closely with other areas within Finance or U.S. Bank to manage portfolio profitability. Strong communication skills are required.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically two or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
- Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools

Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00
