Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 per year + equity opportunity
$5,000 – $10,000 signing bonus

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychiatric assessments, medication management, and therapy to diverse patient populations across various settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in psychiatric care, demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, and be committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered treatment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and risk assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with best practices and clinical guidelines
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications while ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards
- Provide psychotherapy interventions tailored to patient needs, utilizing evidence-based modalities
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and staff training sessions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Engage in telehealth services to expand access to mental health care across diverse populations
Skills:
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active Tennessee APRN license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience practicing as a psychiatric NP (post-certification)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Comfortable with IV administration and patient monitoring
- Strong documentation, critical thinking, and independent clinical judgment
Preferred:
- Experience with ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato (esketamine), procedural sedation, or IV infusion services.
- Certified or trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), CBT, ACT, EMDR, or other evidence-based psychotherapy modalities.
- Licensed or license-eligible for independent psychotherapy practice in Tennessee.
- Background in outpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or pain management.
- Outpatient or private practice experience Familiarity with collaborative practice agreements in Tennessee.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
- Equity ownership in the Professional Corporation (details discussed during interview)
- Therapy Certification Bonus: PMHNPs who also hold psychotherapy certification (KAP, CBT, EMDR, ACT, or equivalent) — or who are willing to obtain KAP certification within 6 months — are eligible for a $5,000 – $10,000 signing bonus and enhanced profit-sharing terms
