The Service and Repair Plumber performs the following. This is a roving position and will travel to different locations throughout Las Vegas.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

  • Appearance should be neat, clean, hair combed, and proper clothing attire including name tag.
  • Required to wear provided uniforms.
  • Tools, Vehicle stocked with basic equipment and prepared for daily tasks.
  • All safety equipment must be on Person or In Vehicle and used at proper times.
  • Effective communication style when dealing with Tenants, Management, and other team members.
  • Working knowledge in all basic plumbing, including but not limited to: Property Plumbing repairs, Sewer Machine, Drain Clearing, Installing new Shower Valves, Cartridges, Water Line Repipes, Pex / Wirsbo, Sewer Repairs, Proper use of Torches, Solder, Ability to learn from existing in house plumber.
  • Emergency property work orders must be responded to (within 2 hours) in order to keep tenants satisfied and promote long-term stay of the tenants.
  • Train property Maintenance as needed on basic plumbing maintenance.
  • Accept on-call responsibilities as reported by supervisor in order to assist tenants with any issues.
  • Be willing to work over-time when needed.
  • Maintain a friendly disposition to ensure peak customer service standards on property creating an environment where tenants want to live.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Willingness to travel.

*Qualifications:*

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Required 5 year Plumbing experience.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Bilingual a Plus, but not mandatory with English as main language.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Proper Transportation (Truck or Van needed)
  • Own Basic Plumbing tools.
  • Sewer machine a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work in cramped, dirty / dusty, cold or hot conditions.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Company standards.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
