The Faculty Physician also assists management in developing policies and procedures relating to patient needs.Job Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide a full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive SurgeryProvide quality treatment to all patients in a professional mannerParticipate in the teaching/training program(s)Communicate with administrators, and Physicians to facilitate practice operationsParticipate in team effort to guarantee efficient services to patientsConforms to the ethical code of conduct of his/her professional organization, to the Wayne Health Corporate Compliance Program and all standards of the Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and to clinic policies and proceduresMaintains a current professional license, professional liability insurance at limits required by Wayne Health Credentialing as applicableAttend meetings and training as requested including participation in mandatory annual Wayne Health training in such areas as: recipient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence and management of unsafe behaviors, and cultural competenceParticipates in professional development activities and keeps current with healthcare trends and practicesObeys confidentiality as required by all federal, state, regulatory and Wayne Health policiesPerform related duties as assignedEducation, Licensure/Certification, and Training:Licensed M.D. or D.O.
