Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Garden Center Merchandiser. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of garden center products on behalf of Pure Beauty Farms. This will include placing, organizing, caring for and merchandising a variety of live good plants. Merchandisers must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling a large quantity of perishable product.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Comply with safety standards while working in the stores and demands

Exhibit high levels of productivity and accuracy while merchandising products in the stores.

Prepare stores walks with the Home Depot Team and any executive leadership from our Pure Beauty Team.

Provide excellent customer service to stores and our consumers.

Ensure all employees follow proper safety initiatives including any PPE

Ensure work area is cleaned before and after plant deliveries.

Perform weekly inventory counts

May need to water plants occasionally

Communicate daily with team lead or manager and follow up on all requests from management in a timely manner

Unload racks, build attractive displays on Garden Center tables, according to plan-o-gram

Bring rolling racks into garden center to stock displays

Required Skills/Abilities:

Full-time – flexibility to work extra time and/or weekends and holidays as needed.

Must be tech savvy as you will need to use our HRIS system and a clock in system.

Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, pull, push, lift, and stretch up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to move items on or near floor level and overhead.

A High School diploma or GED is required.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while working in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills, including listening and oral communication skills.

Ability to be flexible and responsive to provide the highest quality of service to internal and external customers.

Must be able to travel between locations in own vehicle

Must be able to work in the hot humid weather for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirement:

Minimal travel may be required for training or occasional support at various locations.

During spring, additional hours may be required.
