Description
Join a wonderful team in a rapidly growing top-rated hospital system focused on delivering quality patient care. We are seeking a dedicated full-time psychiatrist to provide compassionate, high-quality care at Texas Health Seay Behavioral Health Center.
Opportunity Overview
  • Practice: inpatient behavioral health hospital
  • Patients: adults/adolescents
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with flexibility, no mandatory after-hours call or weekends
  • Team: psychiatrists, PMHNPs, social workers, therapists, discharge planners and UR
  • Average Census or Volume: 12 to 15 patients per day
  • Type of Work: primary inpatient admissions and treatment; occasional PHP/IOP coverage as needed

Qualifications
  • Board certified/board eligible psychiatrist (MD/DO)
  • Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Active DEA license (or eligible to apply)
  • Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred; new grads with inpatient exposure encouraged to apply; must be comfortable treating adolescents
  • J1/H1B candidates welcome
