Salary: 55,000-60,000 Annually,Depending on experience*

POSITION SUMMARY
The Production & Digital Asset Coordinator supports the Museum of the Bible's photography, videography, and digital asset management needs. This role assists with the creation, editing, organization, and archival of photo and video content while managing the museum's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Responsibilities include asset ingestion, metadata tagging, user management, permissions administration, content organization, and maintaining efficient workflows to ensure digital assets are accessible, searchable, and preserved for long-term use across the organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the planning, production, and editing of photo and video content for museum events, exhibitions, marketing campaigns, educational initiatives, and institutional communications.
  • Assist in capturing high-quality photography and videography, including event coverage, interviews, promotional content, and behind-the-scenes documentation.
  • Administer and maintain the museum's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring assets are organized, searchable, secure, and accessible.
  • Migrate digital assets from external storage sources, including hard drives, SSDs, NAS devices, and legacy archives, into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system while ensuring accurate metadata, file integrity, organization, and adherence to established archival standards.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the DAM platform.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure metadata accuracy, asset consistency, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Coordinate the archival, preservation, and lifecycle management of photography, videography, and historical media assets.
  • Maintain equipment inventory, monitor asset storage needs, and support efficient media management processes.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in photography, videography, and digital asset management.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree or coursework in Photography, Film Production, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Sony mirrorless, and cinema camera systems (A7 series, FX series).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe Lightroom
    • Iconik Digital Asset Management

Skills:
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Ability to lift and transport production equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
